During WWII, a couple are separated by an ocean at Christmas time. A soldier over seas plays piano in a swing band while his wife is a Rosie Riveter back in the states. Set to the tone of a slow jazz number, the two sing out their hearts to each other, blending the mood of a lonely Christmas at home and a Smokey bar in Europe.
